Neurodiversity and Self-Exploration
Experiencing life through a neurodiverse perspective brings challenges but also an intricate and beautiful way of being in the world. Often, neurodiverse people are not believed when they relay internal experiences, understanding, and/or motivations. For those who receive a diagnosis in adulthood, there is sometimes a feeling of loss as you look back across your life with new eyes.
Much of my work with neurodiverse clients centres on reframing neurotypical expectations and paradigms to better fit personal values, exploring support needs and accommodations, building relational skills, and developing self-esteem and self-compassion. At the core, I offer community as another neurodivergent person, and an opportunity to be heard.
